President and Owner – Ralph Rader
Ralph was born in Illinois in 1941. His family moved to California three years later and he graduated from Coronado High School in 1958.
Ralph served in the Army for two years at West Point. While on the East Coast, he met Virginia whom he has been married to for 35 years now. Ralph entered the roofing trade in New Jersey in 1967. Three years later, he and his wife moved to San Diego. Ralph was the President of Local 45 Roofer’s Union from 1971 to 1975. He then went into partnership for a roofing contracting business in 1977, and Ralph purchased his own company, R.C. Young Roofing, in 1992. Over the past 30 plus years, Ralph has been fortunate to enjoy a highly respected status in the roofing industry.
In his spare time, Ralph enjoys exploring Baja, sports fishing, golf, hunting and wine making.
